i think the trybe centre is going to become my 2nd home. you know, after spending nearly everyday there.

one thing you never stop hearing is the sound of laughter, especially from (shhh) nic...he's really loud...hush now, though..

on monday the briefing for the monfort camp was held, and i think nearly one cell group from fcbc turned up (you know who you are). not to mention that even though the guys working at trybe are at least (this is sensitive but anyway) late twenties to early thirties physically but mentally they're half that age. =P

so we had a little R & R session including the stress balls. you know, everybody hit [name]!!! pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt scream scream scream pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt pelt.

poor steven jr, he probably didn't know what hit him, only where XD

i had a little R & R session with fabric paint today too, having to print four shirts with trybe logos. one of those shirts belongs to my bestest friend (i got promoted today, and manfred set the record by being the first to be demoted from best friend to good friend in 10 minutes) BABE, who gave me a lovely and extremely useful present today.

but i won't tell you what is it though, cos it would be TMI (too much info) but i think those who know babe would have guessed by now...

i must say, staring at the computer screen can have two effects, depending on what you are looking at.

it's very therapautic to look at your favourite background image, but if you spend a couple of hours staring at MS excel spreadsheets compiling attendance sheets, you can go GOO GOO GA GA MOO MOO MA MA.

i've probably never seen this much paper before, either.

but logistics is sure fun!!!!!!

there goes another bout of not updating my blog.

so let me descibe my week for you.

to put it simply, other than thursday, i spent all my dinners out together with this bunch of dynamic, noisy and sometimes embaressing amazing people. thus, of course, they are all Trybe volunteers! 3 cheers for Trybe voluteers!

monday : dinner at raffles city with babe and ivy and friends (their friends, i don't know who) and watching an acapella performance.

those were some amazing singers, i tell you. fantastic. those are the kind of people that should be famous, not those that some out from Singapore Idol or Project Superstar or whatever else Mediacorp is brainwashing singaporeans with.

and babe, ivy, and i had a very interesting dicussion about dreams..like how some people dream that they lose all their teeth (this happened to babe).

tuesday : dinner at plaza singapura with..let's see...bingrong, steven junior, henzy, jing wei, benjamin, gabriel and li rong. that's A LOT OF PEOPLE RIGHT?
i know. haha.

wednesday : Trybe run at fairfield methodist primary school. cute kids! but i was SUPER tired. after that, dinner at narina square with nicholas, raffy, steven junior and henzy. we played pool and arcade too. lol. raffy's awesome!

thursday : i didn't go anywhere (thank God)! had a real proper rest. lol.

friday : which is like yesterday. i reached home nearly midnight. but it was a great day, all in all.

went out early to the Trybe centre with henzy and bingrong. and i ate this VERY VERY VERY VERY NICE NICE NICE NICE deep fried chicken skin bought from this jap snack stall!! very very very nice! XD

at the Trybe centre, i didn't do much. played this really cute baby (she has huge eyes! or like dalston said, really pretty eyes!) called rachael/rachel, about 10 months old.

the problem was she started crying when her mummy went out to lunch, and aunt jovita couldn't soothe her. sighs.

went to plaza sing (again) later to meet (another bunch of people) steven junior, daniel, dan, gabriel and bingrong. we went to paradiz centre to eat and then to mind cafe, where i had a blast of a time playing really funny games!

gosh, should bring the cg there one day, when everyone is free.

i really had a tiring week, and the weekend is full to the brim too. and there's the upcoming monfort camp at LAC...

Oh My Hurting Feet, What A Stupid Shot!

after service today, we, namely winnie, daniel, charissa, jonathan, david, isaac, sarah, wei jian, rachel, han xiang and THIS PRINCESS HERE (tee hee) popped down to pretty bugis for lunch and a time of fellowship at the pool table.

went to the only place i enjoyed during the time i worked, that little place with famous fish beehoon that i spent lunch hour in, and the 11 (count it, the lady there must have been really pleased and shocked at the same time) squeezed into 3 tables (okay not really squeeze, it was quite comfortable).

i love the fish shop. plenty of fish slices, fresh ones. just that my tummy can't exactly stomach everything. but i sure digested them quick, cos i got real hungry while playing pool - but i'll mention that later.

hmm i like playing with the bolding and italic-ing and underline-ing *laughs*

the chicken rice winnie and rachel had looked fantastic too, and charissa's horfun's gravy was real tempting. the only thing that stopped me from asking her for a bite was cos i hate horfun. and beehoon. just FYI.

after all the eating (i was so full, i could hardly walk. but that could be due to another reason...), we went to the building with the really huge double-storyed this fashion (i don't know what it's called) to play pool. took up two tables, we did!

as usual. i sucked my way through. beat david cos he just was unluckly or cos i shot the white ball into weird places and winnie shot in the black one anyway so it wasn't counted. but it was fun watching.

sure wasn't that fun playing, if you were wearing a new pair of heels that kinda slip at the heel and bites the toes. mind, i took them off during praise and worship. i don't think i could have concentrated.

all in all, it was a great day of praise and worship. it's very interesting to listen to david, charissa and isaac (the siblings, have you noticed?) talk in the mrt. i was kinda laughing a lot.

i haven't been laughing a lot. except for when i watch naruto, cos it's totally hilarious. naruto is, anyway. but have you guys ever seen that bug guy laugh?? (skip this part if you're anti-naruto) it was so funny to even see him say a joke, don't mention laugh! cos he never does. even when he is fierce with naruto, something very often (what do you get when you put one totally serious guy with a prankster?) seen, it is also very funny. the way naruto reacts, i mean.

yea but other than that. i should totally get a life. maybe i should go get a boyfriend or something, you know, make life a little more interesting.

day one of the camp, i was already (forced) awake by a phone call at 5 am. dragging myself out of bed, i made preparations and left the house at 6.

the first day, we had this island-wide "amazing race" which allows the student use of a GPS machine. i was very excited until i found out i won't be getting to toy with it, being a facilitator...sigh.

and anyway, it wasn't that great after all. imagine 3 hours searching for a location which turns out to actually be OUR CURRENT LOCATION and then finding out we have to travel from CCK all the way to TOA POYAH!

well i like the second day, cos we get to see people smart-casually dressed and eat in a restuarant and stay over in a chalet!

the students attended an ettiquette course on the second day, and they had to apply what they learnt when dining in the restaurant for lunch that day. not many did, anyway. but it was fun.

except for the steak. well anyway, both students and facilitators get a list of main course in which we have 5 choices pick from. many took sirloin steak with various sauces.

we even had to dress up, the facilitators, and i must say...hmmm...okay nevermind.

well..it's okay to have a well-done steak (i usually take medium), but this one was abit extreme. i ate slowly not because it's my habit but because just cutting the steak up was such a chore. jeez!

the best part is staying over at the costa sands pasir ris chalet. i only had like 2 hours of sleep! but anyway, it was fun up and around.

i don't know how many times i've said this, but i need a new skin again. this new skin will come in only in february, though. i have a lot to do in january.

1. 3rd to 5th january, a Trybe camp at kranji sec. thanks brother henzy for the help. seems like i always end up this troublesome.
2. i have until april before school starts. money have to start flowing in again. yes, i'm serious giving tuition. i'll use my prelim results. not fabulous, like i said before, but it's good already.
3. get a laptop.
4. get a new phone. not very important though. i'm happy with the current one. just that my mom may want it back. she likes it too.
